Information Collected by Elldridge Lynch
We collect and retain information about you that we believe is necessary to help us administer business between ourselves and to keep you abreast of improvements to our services and products and to provide you with other relevant information.
Elldridge Lynch collects two types of information:
- Personal information such as names, addresses, email addresses, copies of identification, incorporation documents etc.
- Traffic pattern information and transactional information on elynchfx.com.
Personal information is collected to meet both internal and external compliance requirements, and to enable us to open an account for you and be in a position to commence business. Traffic pattern information is used to monitor pages accessed or visited and enables us to better meet the requirements and needs of our clients and users. Transactional information reflects the business our clients enter into with us and provides a historical record of business activity which is necessary as a means of monitoring and mitigating money-laundering and also to enable your account dealer to keep abreast with your Forex needs.
How We Use Your Information
We do not sell, publish or freely give away your personal or transaction information. The information you have provided to us or that we have obtained can be used by us and our suppliers for the purpose of carrying out our business. In certain circumstances we may be obliged to disclose information to regulatory, law enforcement or other government bodies. Elldridge Lynch may share personal information and traffic pattern information with pre-screened third parties for both advertising and promotional materials. The Client’s personal information will be treated strictly in accordance with New Zealand’s Privacy Act.
